I say we have a Fesler vs Kenny D build-off! I'll put my top 5 trophy up for the winner! (maybe then it will go to the "right" car ) Seriously though, everyone needs to kiss and make up. This is not what this sport/hobby/business is all about. In the words of our old friend Rodney King..."can't we all just get along?"

LOL!!! But instead of Jeff's Top Five Tracy will treat the winner to an Omaha steak dinner! LOL!

Chris,

Maybe one of the issues is that when you came on the scene you were just a little too sure and confident of your talents. There's no doubt that you are a talented builder but I can say, from personal experience, you're not the most congenial person as I have met you several times and even though you acknowledged me there wasn't any genuine showing of interest in knowing me. You pretty much just glanced at me, muttered a hello and basically ignored me after that. That's not to say that I need a huge fanfare to feel accepted but certainly a small slice of your attention would have made a world of difference. I know you're busy trying to make a success of your business and sometimes you just don't have the time but customer service/PR is part of that business you so desperately are working for. A great example is Chip Foose. As busy as he is he is always ready to shake someones hand and endure whatever conversation that person wants to engage him in.
As a new contender you need to respect the guys that are already there. I thought in the last post that you posted a pic of, what you felt, was bad fit and finish, you used probably the worst picture for this as you knew that was Kennys car and you know how he feels about you. Why would you post, of all the pics, that one just to make the problem worse? It makes you look childish which DEFINITELY does not command my respect and, I would suspect, a lot of members on this board. I like where you're going with your company and the talent that you've been able to harness now you just need to learn that it doesn't come overnight. Like I said in another post. Ya gotta pay your dues!

John

John, your entire post was dead on and well written.
But just to add one note:
It also doesnt make sense that Chris would post this pic because his gripe was with the top 5. Kennys car wasnt even in the top 5 so...

Anyway.. congrats to all who made it a great show.

I posted the pick because kenny was telling me how perfect my cars were. I know where I got the pic and it was the wrong thing to do and again I am sorry for it.

True! BTW great meeting you!

Chris, I'm not trying to lambast you rather I just want you to understand certain issues that you may not be able to see that I see as a third party. You can take it for whatever it is. I look forward to seeing you next year and whatever creation you come up with. I'm sure it'll be badass!

John, I thank you for the words and try to spend time with all that stop but as you know its not possible. I have a lot going on at the shows besides the cars, getting there, set up and so on. I am sorry if you feel the way you do it was no way intended to blow you off. I understand where you are coming from and in no way want people to think that. I will take it to point and try a little harder and appreciate the heads up. thanks

If you have some time lets talk at SEMA as you know we are on the crunch for SEMA now and will have some new stuff there this year. We have a large booth in Hot Rod Alley so come by and say hi please. thanks

I can verify that much. In 2006 at the Detroit Autorama we had a Pro Touring get-together at Fishbones down in Greektown. Afterwards my cousin and I were walking out and there in the lobby was Chip Foose. My cousin was too terrified to go up to him but I have never (nor will I ever) be fazed by a celebrity. I walked right up to him and told him I wanted to say hello and that I loved his show on TLC. He shook my hand and even asked what my name was. He spent about 5 minutes with me and my cousin answering all our questions and then letting us in on how the Overhaulin' show was being revised. I couldn't believe how personable he was. When his table was ready he extended his hand and said, "It was a pleasure meeting you, Tony, thanks for coming up to say hello."

First class guy.
