if there is a scoop on there it had better be a working functional mechanical methanol injection.. if not its just rediculous....

dont put anything not non-functional in your car..

I guess it will be the cowl. I just feel bad having the stinking scoop sitting in the garage. Well I guess this saves me some metal work and paint. Thanks for all of the help with the hood.

Cowl for sure you can move the other one to someone else out there, your car looks just right with the cowl IMO.

The scoop is functional. It would be the same as cold air induction. I am trying to find something out of the norm that I can do myself. I put the cowl hood back on. I do have a few other ideas for a hood. How about something like the TVR Sagitarius. Here is a pic of one and how it might work. Probably beyond my ability to make but I don't mind breaking some stuff trying to learn.

I am not sure if Dakota Digital is a sponsor of this site but they sell a linear actuators that could work. I could probably use some rollerblade bearings and some steel rod. The rest would be body work. Probably a lot of body work. Oh well just an idea. The purpose might be to remove the high pressure area that develops under the front of the car at highway speeds, well and help me learn a little about body work. Let me know what ya'll think.
