No, it is a switch to engage gear vendors unit only......

I just emailed Flaming River tonight asking for more details on wiring. I'm far from being any expert and like anything that is close to plug & play as I can get.

I think were going to see alot of this technoligy at SEMA this year. There is alot of companies waiting for Patent approval. I'm hoping to get a complete system with locks and ignition in one key fob.

Hopefully, that will bring down the price some.
I received the install directions from F/R today but haven't had time to sit down and study them.

got it. thank you so much. been wondering about a system like this because it adds a little more security with a push button start.

I agree, the RFID is the only way to go (for me).
So just glancing at the directions, they show how to wire from the ignition switch itself but since mine is in the column I guess you'd have to trace them down to the plug in connectors after finding out which is ign, acc, etc, right?
Wiring is definitely not my thing.

i'd rather have it on the steering wheel like a ferrari f430 or maybe just get the whole thing from ferrari with the race modes on the wheel oh ya

it would be a nice option to have but in my opinion thats a lot of money just for a steering wheel. your best bet to obtain a steering wheel from a f430 is from a wrecking yard that has exotic cars.
