Default Man that sucks.

Tyler,

I'm sorry to hear about that, it really breaks my heart. I could not imagine having my car stolen. I've heard nothing but good things about you, and no one deserves that. Again, I am really sorry, and I wish you the best.

Sorry bro....same thing happened to my first 68. Storage unit and the lock was cut off. Never..ever put my car in one. If anybody does, make damn sure you drop it off late at night and don't tell a sole where it is. I know mine was an inside job.

What a gut wrencher!

Obviously someone seen you put it in the storage unit. It's either someone connected to the storage place or someone with a unit next to yours that watched you bring it in. No other possible way for someone to know.

Does the storage place have insurance?
Either way, I hope you get some money back.

The truck had Cali plates on it, but the bed of the trailer blocked the numbers. The Insurance at the unit only covers my property up to $10K. The wheels were $7K by themselves not to mention the body, the chassis, the C5 suspension and LSX/T56 etc.

I'm looking at Ebay auctions right now for the wheels as well as craigslist for anything that might be coming off my car.

Life goes on I guess. I'm still not fully grasping the situation; I'm in a slight bit of shock.

I was so happy to see your post until I opened it and read what had happened. My heart is still just below my stomach! I was going through some pictures that I got from Wayne Due (from years back) a couple of weeks ago and found pictures of your car and was going to ask you where you were at with it.

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss! Did you get the license of the truck? Man my heart goes out to you. I will keep an eye out for you and will get the word out through friends.

I can't tell you how bad I feel for you. I hope they catch the people responsible and they get what is coming to them.

Even have pics of the truck and guys who took it. I have little hope that it will be recovered as anything but a shell, and I can kiss those HRE wheels good bye. Keep your eyes peeled though, and call my shop if you have seen or heard anything about it.

That car and period of my life is dead to me now. I don't really want it back anymore now that it has been ransacked and mistreated by yet another group of people.

From here on out just leave this car be. I don't want to talk about it ever again. Thanks for letting me vent.

Tyler, that just sucks! Times are strange when thieves are stealing cars that are not up and running yet! How in the hell would they know to look in your storage unit? Plus another Camaro is in plain open sight and they don't touch that one! Man this stuff just pisses me off!
