Our table is 9/16" Plate steel with I-beam legs and it's HEAVY!! We don't move it around since it's in a dedicated work space. It is balanced though so when empty we place a floor jack under the tube in the center that you can see hanging down from the middle and 2 people can move it around easily....but this isn't an option with a car on it. Our table has to fit multiple needs so if building one for a single project your dimensions and features need to be considered to fit your build needs.

Not a great picture but it's all I had handy....
