Thats not to bad of a price if that inculdes fab everthing up and axles.

That includes everything but brackets. I have seen that picture before. I have it saved in my favorites. You going to be running a 4 link?

there are a couple of vendors that are chassisworks dealers, the only one i knew of was SC&C but as it would appear above, Drivers inc is also in the game... have only had good experience with SC&C and only heard good things about Drivers.... so its a question of who is closest, and your personal preference..

I have talked to markus at SC&C about Fab 9 on another occation and as i understand it you really need to be sure what you want, as the housing is built to your specs, so be sure you know exactly what dimensions you need..

If you want some assistance in the geometry department i can personally vouch for marcus at sc&c ... but i cant say that drivers inc arent suspension geometry gurus as well...

Sorry for the ignorance and i don't mean to hijack the thread but i was curious what is the advantages to going with a fab9 rear end? I love the way they look but wasn't sure. So does it take 12bolt stuff or ford 9"? What about axles? I don't have it in my budget but maybe the next build. again sorry for the hijack.

its a fabricated 9 inch ford housing... "fab9" and it accepts: well 9 inch components... that being said, you can just as easily stuff a 12 bolt diff and ring/pinion in there if you use a strange engineering 12 bolt drop out centersection, just be sure to order the axles with 9 inch ford axleends....

the advantages o fthis is the reduced drag and weight of that unit...
