For example:

Ram Jam: Black betty
Journey: Don't stop believing
Manfred Mann: Blinded by the light
Ozzy: Crazy train

I know the lyrics to songs I just don't know who did them or what the name of the song is.
So I've been having a hell of a time trying to get something together myself.

Help us out guys.

I'll just toss out a few from one of my favorite bands.

Creedence Clearwater Revival

Cotton Fields
Lookin' Out my Back Door
Travelin' Band
and on and on.

I like all of their stuff. They have two Chronicle CD's that have most of their good music on them.

Ozzy: Crazy train
Crazy Train was on Ozzy's first solo album released in 1980 but all of his Black Sabbath songs were 1970s.

Other must haves, some already mentioned and others that weren't include

Van Halen I and II
Allman Bros
Thin Lizzy
Molly Hatchet
Bon Scott era AC/DC aka pre Back in Black
Rolling Stones
Lynyrd Skynyrd
Ted Nugent
KISS
Judas Priest
Aerosmith
Heart
Tom Petty
ZZ Top
Led Zeppelin

I listed artists as opposed to songs because most of these bands have many good songs. Some too many to list.
