Garage built Cars???

Guess I haven't posted mine up yet....

Homebuilt in a gravel barn behind the house with my father - it was my 13th birthday present, so I've had the car 10 years now. We did everything but recovering the seats and paint.

It's ran with a mild 350/M-22 combo and now has a LS1/T56 in it - been fighting her ever since we got it running again, maybe it'll run right someday

I'm doing a home build as well, less paint and interior.

The car was in really good shape before I started, but I started finding rust here and there and decided not to cut any corners. My dad and I restored it 17 years ago, and now I'm doing round two in hopes that my son will enjoy it some day...and maybe his children.

Here's a link to the build. I had a bad experience with body work when I first started, so I pulled the job and decided to do it myself. Let's face it. A quarter panel, rear deck filler panel and roof skin should not take 6 months! When I got the car home, I started noticing rust here and there and that's whe the snowball started. Most people would not have torn this car down as far as I did, but at least I know every crack of it will be blasted, epoxy primed, seam sealed, etc.

My hat's off to you Chris for doing what ever it took to make that car solid again! I know it's been time consuming...but it's all worth it!!

All due respect to the guys that have 5-10,000 sq. ft. garages, im very envious. But unless you have to step over the mower, kids toys,christmas ornaments and snow blowers,it ain't no garage
