You local anodizer will strip them if you need. Sometimes the Easy off will strip the part to the point it make it just a tick smaller.

I believe Fragola sells some of their fittings bare. I have bought a lot the fittings that I wanted and sent the to the anodizer to be stripped and reanodized the color I want. You want to try and do all of them at once so they are the EXACT same color and because there is minimum price.

If you need any Fragola Fittings let me know, I can drop ship them or have them anodized locally to you desired color.

Clear is still annodized. I found some on Earl's site un-annodized. I am still looking though for possible better pricing.

I got my from Earls..ordered through Summit

Eastwood has a solution to strip anodizing. Look in their catalog....never used it, but they make it look likes its a dip and strip without any scrubbing or residue left on.

I just don't want to go through the extra work or cost of stripping them if I can find raw ones. I need quite a few of them.

Frogola lists one option as plain. And in the pic it looks like it is uncoated and bare. The plain option works great until you get to a specialty fitting that only comes in blue. The anodizers will strip the current anodizing for free when you reanodize.

Stripped all the fitting on the truck project, had the polished and then anodized them black to get a really bitchin look.

If you need Fragola pricing let me know, I'm as deep a dealer as you can get.

I have used the Eastwood product and it works well, leaves the part nice and bright.

Are you planning on puttig any protective coating back on the fittings?

If not, what do you plan on, the bare fittings looking like in a few months.

This bare look could be very cool, or maybe just a dirty unprotected look.

Aluminum will oxidize over time and leave a dull grey look if its unprotected.

I assume you know all of this...

So what is the look you are going after?
Are you going to recoat the fitting in some cool color?

I have to weld some of the fittings in, so they need to be bare to do that. After the modifications are done, they part will be annodized , not sure on color yet, probably clear or gray. I prefer not to strip fittings due to the extra costs involved.
