So, have we affected the warranty at all here? Roger you are going to have to install a bigger door to get this guys head in and out the further this project goes. You guys are definitely leaving no stone unturned and costing all of us alot more $$$$$$$. STOP IT!

I'm sure the warranty has been affected, but Autometer make the best Quality gauges on the market, so what else are we going to use, besides the BEST.

As far as making the door bigger, we would not be able to do this stuff if it was not for John, so as long as he pays to keep the lights on and the welder welding, we will just keep install a bigger front door. I have a feeling the interior will out due the rest of the car with some of the ides we are working on.

Just FYI, we are planning on displaying the John's 66 in bare metal at the Del Mar show the beginning of April, We will also be displaying Eric's 62 Convertible also. Along with the Unveiling of the C6-57 trunk project.

Thanks Guys

Thats really cool. Do you have any tips on taking the guages apart. I have been thinking of taking my phantom tach apart and removing a chunk of the case so I can fit it closer to my speedo.
Very nice work.

Just take pair or side cutter and cut the ring and twist it off the face of the gauge. It is pretty easy. Here are some pics of the dissassembly, and how the gauges look apart.

I would have to say, if I was going to be compared to something 'Chicane' would be a great milestone to be compared to.
