Man what a fun weekend, We did not make the finalist award for truck of the year but there are still like 5 oher shows for that to happen at. The 68 ford truck that won was super clean and I was told they spent 8 months doing body work. It is STRAIGHT..... The cameo was designed Hollywood Jason Rushforth ( You have to whisper the Rushforth) the body mods on this truck were awesome. If I was a judge I would have no idea which truck to pick. The owners of both trucks were super nice guys, I look forward to hanging out with them a other shows later this year. Here are some outside pics of my truck and the 2 other competitors from this weekend in Del Mar.

Nice meeting everyone this weekend, Larknut, twinsting, and many others.

Default not to

disrespect (never thought I would use that word in a sentence) the other 2 trucks, but yours is head and shoulders above them.

If it had a set of tricked out Forgelines or HRE's for a little european flair, I might have to sell my oldest son to come up with the cash.

Man do I love this truck, what a great build!

WOW rodger! I have been waiting a long time to see it completed and I am extremly impressed. I don't understan why your truck didn't win but sometimes things don't work out the way they should have. I look forward to seeing it in person all complete one of these days. Great job

The first picture looks like you are advertising for DSE...I thought this was an Ironworks build

Rodger,
I have some quick walk around footage of your truck...is it cool if I post it?

You're a humble man Rodger !
I agree the other two look great, but if I may point out the obvious:
Yours has an exposed tube chassis, loads of body mods (obvious tilt hood) and tons of attention to detail and its tastefully done.
Other than being super clean, what was so special of the other two ?
Job well done for getting it out !

Both Trucks were awesome and the owners were really nice guys. The guy who owned the Ford had had it for 30 years and it was really straight and clean. The cameo was super clean also and the exterior body mods were pretty cool.

FYI I have update dmy site with a lot of fresh pics of the truck. I have few things I want to improve before pleasanton next month. And I'm think I will bring it to Columbus in July.

Thumbs up

I still think your truck is better than the other 2.
Not taking anything away from the other guy's trucks at all. Just my opinion.
