Thanks for all the input ! I thought about the G8 and the GTO set ups right after I made the post. I'll look into those some more, I have a buddy that is the sales manager at a local Pontiac GMC store, he will let me poke around and measure things if I want to.
I was not aware of the width issues with the C6 rear, I think that is no longer an option.
As for the back seat, if it goes away it just means less people I have tp haul around.
I did read about the Heidts project but I think I'd like to be able to head down to local dealership or parts store if I need parts in the future.
