I agree with Musclecar John, its almost to nice to cut up. The FUEL wheels would look great with the darker centers, I personally like the white stock interior, just my 2 cents. See what you can do on the suspention without going crazy and spending a zillion dollars, a LS style motor, for reliability and less trouble down the road. As far as a transmission, I personally think that an automatic overdrive would be great for style and comfort. 18s all the way around should fit well and keep the proportions looking balanced, without having to go crazy on suspention mods as well as clearance issues front and rear. Kinda like the silver blue too, looks great on those sharp lines, and flat panels, hey its yours do what you would like to it! Just my my opinion, looks like youre gonna have fun, what ever you do to it! Way cool!

Thanks everyone, it means a lot to have all this attention on this little project already. The rendering is on the drawing board as we speak but I have to juggle it with paying client's projects so nobody is waiting on me.

The car is so clean and the color is so right for the car that the biggest visual change in the immediate future will be my favorite one; wheels and stance! Going to www.j-rodandcustom.com Monday for mini-tubs and then probably get a narrowed 9" and some shiny new Baer brakes front and rear. Anyone in WA have a 3rd member with some freeway gears? All it needs to hold up to for now is the 300" nailhead.

Speaking of the nailhead, BooneDog is welcome to it when it gets swapped for something bigger but it won't be until next winter at the soonest because it runs so damn nice and summer is so close, I'm just going to handle the brakes, suspension, wheels and stance for now so I can enjoy it ASAP.

I'll get some really good pics before it goes under the knife on Monday so we can all say a proper good-bye to the cute little Grandma car and have a nice "before" shot of where it starts.

what it needs is is grand national motor to keep the "different" theme going. Well proven to go fast enough, and break stuff if you want one too

Jason, I have one of those too. Only it's a 4 door. And it's not in as good of shape. I've had a few ideas for mine, but it comes after the Camaro. And if you want to know what the paint looks like oxidized, take a look at my pics. I think our cars are the same color.
