Thoughts on new Camaro? Should GM continue the trend?

Just went to the local dealership to see the camaro, I like it! Its a nice looking car, I thought the six would priced a bit lower, hope they can sell a lot of them. 27k sticker v6 loaded with sun roof in black. When i saw the sticker I assumed it was a v8 car- not! They told me a v8 will be near 35k WOW! I asked them if that was competitive with the mustang, they said this doesn't compare to the mustang and went right in to the speech about IRS in the car. Maybe IM out of touch with new cars but I got sticker shock. The drivetrain is awesome, the interior - lets just say they have to cut cost somewhere, the guages are a bit lame, but nothing autometer couldn't handle.

I think one of the selling points on the car on the interior is the 4 pack gauge cluster. Kinda reminds me of the '69 gauge cluster as well.
ALTHOUGH, it takes more than a 4 pack gauge cluster for me to buy a car! lol
