The adapter is only 1/8" thick. I'm just wondering if the motor is positioned correctly. I'm using the original 350 frame mounts and using 350 motor mounts which is supposed to position the motor the same as using the 455 frame and motor mounts (I checked this on several different sites and they say as long as you use the motor mounts that correspond to the frame mounts it positions the motor the same with the Olds motors). If I could remount the motor I would but cant go any lower because of the FR rack kit and by the looks of the headers its mounted just about perfect height wise. I dont mind cutting the firewall if thats what has to be done, I just want to make sure I'm not missing something obvious. I figured if someone else has done the swap they might have a better solution.
