Well you can copy what others have done without all the info about a CUSTOM application or you can go through and do it the right way for your car

Exaclty. and "Custom' typically mean no options at a premium price. Another question. Do they make progressive rate coil over springs?

I don't get it, what more info should I need? It's the same sub with the same suspension I'm going to be running. Now I'll just have to tweak the details to fit my car right.

weight, wheel offset, ride height, CG and RC, I guess it's fine to use what someone else did as a base line but coil overs can get expensive if you don't get the right ones especialy for a road and track application that should use da shocks.

da being dual action???

What are some really good brand shocks like the kind you would find on a real race car but can still take the daily driving abuse?

real race cars are not driven on the street, but to answer the question there are a lot of "race" shocks, Penske, Afco, Pro, Koni, Ohlins, Bilstein....

seeing as how I will be driving it on the street as well as on a track I shouldn't go for these brands though right?

What other type of shocks are DA and good for both applications?

Ohh and thanks Don
