not hard at all, especially if you have a steady hand, I use my MAC cut-off tool with swivel head, which helps to get in hard to reach places

I'm gonna go buy one of those right now. I'm tired of working on my firewall and need a little break.

What other tool should I need to buy once I have something welded and I need to smooth it out?

Grinder and angle die grinder with tons of the green sanding dics and multi others.
