LOL this ain't Minnesota. The winters aren't cold, just cooler than our mild summers. The rainy season is Feb/Mar. But either way yes I wanna get out and beat on it ASAP!

Vertigo's bionic blower will like the cool fall breezes of Anytown USA.

Yup, both my cars' intercoolers will appreciate cooler air.

Well overall it was a good Saturday afternoon of some tire-shredding, clutch-break-in driving around the Gearhead shop in Sacramento. Absolutely no traction in 1st, 2nd or 3rd even with the 335 drag radials. I asked Jason if we could move the motor to the back before the end of this week.

Just after I gassed her up with some pathetic California 91 octane and prior to getting on the freeway for some 4th gear pulls, an electrical gremlin bit us in the arse. Something likely minor - like a $5 switch or a crimped wire somewhere is the thought as most functions still had power. The guys at the shop did some troubleshooting but it was getting late and we all had to head out, so we packed her up for the weekend and called it a day.

But the 15 street miles I put on her were mostly full throttle 1st thru 3rd pulls. I beat on it pretty hard and that was the intent to try to put it through some hard field testing before we take the road trip to Pleasanton this Friday.

This week we are planning to put in some steering stops and dyno tune, and hopefully extend the exhaust with tails. It is extremely loud, which I do not mind, but the backfiring on deceleration every time I can probably live without. I told Jason I liked backfiring when I was 14 but not now.

Of course we had planned on taking pics and doing some video toward the end of the cruise but it was cut a little short. It was the best day I have had yet with this car in the 3 year journey, and I can't wait til this weekend to cruise and hang with the guys for the GG show.
