Default Shocked Runs 9's

guys, its been awhile but vinnys 68 camaro shocked, just went 9.98 at 138.47 in the 1/4 mile at atco drag way. Pretty unreal for a pro touring street car.
We will post video later of the run. heres a pic and stats

1.53 60 ft
[email protected] in the 8th
[email protected] in the 1/4 mile

This is on a 100 shot, his progressive controller died last week and he is on a wot switch, he spins coming out of hole with nx armed, so on his 9.98 run he armed it just after launch, lol Once new controller comes in he will run it on 200 shot but dial it in over a few seconds, should run 9.70s easy.

Is the WOT set up for drive by wire. I thought you needed full throttle to activate properly, even in 1st gear. Must of had some serious RPMs off the line.
Very nice numbers!

he left the line with nitrous off, the switch to arm the 2nd fuel pump and nitrous is on middle of dash, he flipped switch on once out of hole, not normal but worked for him, the progressive controller will allow him to dial nx in slowly, rather then one big hit.
engine is a 496 chevy bb, afr heads, 10.9-1,solid roller, pro systems carb etc.

Looking at his ft. time, his timing on hitting the switch was pretty impressive.
Knowing hes 1/4 mile this car before, I wouldnt consider Vinny to be lucky and his experience makes a big difference.
Again great slip times.
