Are you going to cut the front bumper to look like a mini split bumper camaro.

No, I personally dont like the split bumper on the Camaro either.

Jeff, what is your solution for the truck intake being so tall and the hood so low? Are you going to fab a scoop of some sort for extra room or will it all fit under the stock hood?

It's not a LS3 it's a 5.3 Alum block. I picked it cause it was cheap and light, 100lbs more than the original alum 4 banger.
If you look at the pics of the engine, it has a LS1 intake and water pump which will fit under the hood. I bought the LS1 intake and 2 other spares off craigslist for $35 ea.
