You're going to be an alchoholic soon. Pretty rough luck! Porsche was just jealous.

Damn Porsche! At least the Camaro didn't leave you stranded.....
We'll reschedule the Dyno so we can BOTH dyno our cars at the same time- should be good fun!! Perhaps a late night run back to the shop with 'em?

I thought you had enough of our sweet public transportation on the GoodGuys weekend- since yours was tied up inside. Pretty weak story! Don't bang those gears so hard and maybe the shifter will stay attached. Worse yet, I'm sure the shifter handle & repair on the Porsche will cost way more than ANYTHING on the Camaro

I still don't get what's going on with that engine; it was flawless in Dons car, no mechanical issues. Had a tuning issue at one point with intake reversion and the single plane manifold it had, but the StealthRam solved that.

Yeah. All I really ask is that my cars don't break on the SAME DAY!

Going to be? Yeah I have been cheating on the Porsche. And rightfully so.

Yeah I am sick of Bart and Muni at this point. Sigh.... Well the shifter linkage might not be cheap, but it should be cheaper than the a blown head gasket and now the work needed on the IC/radiator hose (if we go solid) and getting it back to a full 8 cylinders. Shiat.

I don't get it either Jody. I wish I knew. It really has been problematic.

Sorry to hear this Dave---keep moving forward--A guy once told me (this was during my procharger blow thru the carb dark days) that if we can put a man on the moon, that I could figure out my tuning issue. I eventually did, I just had to keep after it--slowly at times. It sucks when your daily driver takes a crap on you at the same time---

Thanks for the video and the new pics. Car really looks awesome.

Thanks Doug. And you're right... what can ya do but keep chuggin. Yeah it's funny, I was talking to the dyno operator while they were messing with another car and he was saying he loves tuning a blow thru carbed procharged setup over the older EFIs like mine. I said I'd heard nothing but troubles of everyone I knew or read about with that setup... he said no way they are a piece of cake! Interesting......

Dave, I know you have referenced "Don" in some of these convos with Jody--was this Don C's (aka Mr. Toads Wild Ride) Don? Was this the motor out of his sons nova?
