Well the $43K "high bid" on eBay says it all...

I was at the Grand National Roadster Show one year when they had maybe 6 or 8 of these "Overhaulin" builds -- and to say I was shocked at the crap quality is an understatement. Both my Brother in Law and I said - jokingly - that if they took our junky POS and then turned it into one of these - we'd be PO'D big time!!

One can argue "taste" and "refinement" and wheel choice til the cows come home - but QUALITY is not arguable - it's either a quality build or it isn't - and from what I've seen -- the Foose Overhaulin stuff falls squarely in a bucket O' Poo.... It is a TV show after all - "entertainment"... is what they're selling - not Riddler builds...

I don't even watch it - after seeing it once or twice - it's just a thrash - and Ads for vendors. You're not going to learn anything.

Well sure they did Josh -- or people would be mad as h... And since we're all so PC these days - who would dare to mumble such harsh criticism in the first place right? Who would be so ungrateful. They only have to pay the taxes on the "gift"... and they have a way better car than they started out with or most likely could ever build. They should be happy.... but when you go to sell OTHER PEOPLE will look at it differently - and then it is what it is... a mediocre build. That's not to say the "idea" isn't grand and all that...

You no Greg normally I would agree with you ! You know I love you man(not in that way) but I have to say I have seen a couple of those cars ,the 67 GTO and the convertible GTX and they looked pretty damn nice. Now that was a couple of years ago I do'nt know what they look like now. I think as that show went on the cars got alot better.

Mario -- I think you're right -- the early cars were "rough" but as the show went on and they figured all of this out I agree - they got better. I watched one episode the other day with a 62 Chevy that looked REAL GOOD when they finished... but it also didn't start out that bad. I wonder if they didn't start to figure out that with the time they had - they can't be doing 4 days of rust repair... which also requires a lot more body prep before paint.

Icon in So. Cal. definately raised the car up a couple of inches and this looks like crap. To drop it again no big deal with a 3/4" socket on the TB adjusters. They probably took the lowering blocks out of the rear.

Mopar's have to be realigned after you move the bars. If you want it low they need adjustable upper arms as well.

You don't need adjustable upper arms if you lower your Mopar to the max. That's just a sales pitch from the guys that sells UCA's.

Alltime (Tim) notched the frame rails on a 68 Road Runner to lower it and ran stock UCA's and it aligned fine.

I have stock UCA's with moog 7103 offset upper bushings. I have 1.0 deg neg Camber, 4.5 deg positve caster. I'm too low to run stock LCA's bumpers. I actually don't run any at all. My stock k-member sits about 5.5" off the ground to it's absolute lowest point.
