Default Fikse re-barrel

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-p...s-for-z06.html

Hey Guys,
I found these over on corvetteforum.com. I was wondering if it would be possible to have the offsets changed on these? with fikse being gone and all.

Forgeline told me they can re-hoop Fikse whees since they use the same bolt pattern. I would call them to confirm though. Ask for Scott.

Yea, but they did it for me for free.. magazine deal.

It's cheaper than buying new rims.. Scott should be able to give you a good idea of the cost.

Yeah just like ITDORUN and many others i am sure, I was about to order a set.
Then I read a thread on here! Oh well there are lots of killer wheels companies out there if this does not work out for me.

Wow, Fikse is outta business? I didnt know. Bad times all around. Too bad they dont all have the obama back-up deal. I guess the restructuring of american companies doesnt include the smaller guys.

Umm, it was prolly four + years ago but there was a company in the san fernando valley, Ca. that was willing to re-hoop some centers for me at 400 a piece. And that was a soild center (billet) with polishing. No colors if the center has color. And no coating, like a clear coat. Just a remounting of a billet center then polished out. 400 a wheel wasnt bad. If yer interested Ill look through all my old emails and see if I can find the company. JR

I talked to forgeline and they are working on a blot pattern for fikse wheels, sounds like it will be about $275 a wheel. I just cant get the guy who has them for sale to reply to my pm's.
