Well since I don't know what a DSLR is I guess a point and shoot would work, and I'm way to busy(dumb) to figure out a complicated camara. Thanks for the input. Telly

LOL....your first step is to spell it camEra. I have a Panasonic Lumix that works great. You should be able to find a good pocket type camera for under 200.00 these days. It will probably do all you want to do.

oops that kinda like spelling camaro camero duh, I've bought plenty of the pocket camera's and spent good money on them they just dont seem to last a year or two goes buy and the quality starts going down hill!

I think the Canon G10 or G11 are great options for P&S cameras.

I agree (which is why I bought one the other day).. but it sounds like the poster might want something simpler.

I would have to ask if the OP wants a very compact camera or doesn't mind the bulk of a one with a better lens like the G10/G11 or the Panasonic unit.
