Ok...I did a search and found some pictures. For sure you need the 3" drop springs. But I suppose that all depends on how low you really want to go. Which front springs are you planning to use?

Here's a pic of the results I got from a 2" drop spring and yes I would have liked it to get just a bit lower.

I was wondering if you can help me out with posting your suspension modification list? I love the stance and I'm trying to figure it out for my 67 too.

Spiffav8, thanx for the pics. Yea I think another inch in the rear would be cool. Where can I order 3inch drop leaf springs? And should i go with 2 or 3 in the front? I attached a couple of pics. I was thinking about DSE or ordering something from jegs.

By the way, the wheels are billet specialties, 17x8 in front and 18x9.5 in the rear

Not sure which of our site sponsors carries GW. I bought all my parts from ATS as they where local at the time. Here's the link for the GW site.

As for your front springs. I would recommend measuring from the highest point in the front fender to the top of the tire. See how much of an opening you have and go from there. Then it all depends on what spring rate you get as to how much they will drop. What engine do you have?

Right now it has a 400SB chevy motor in it. Do you think 2" drop springs from DSE would be enough?

Dan,

No problem.

Global West L2-CAT5 leaf springs
Global West S-13 Front coil springs
Global West upper control arms
Global West sub-frame connectors
ATS Tall Spindles
Bilstien Shocks
Hotchkis sway bars

Now...more importantly what would I change.

If I where to stay with leaf springs I would use the L3-CAT5 springs from Global West and a different front coil spring. One with a higher spring rate. The S-13's are great but I had to trim them to get the ride height I wanted and that caused a minor rub issue on big bumps at higher speeds. Also I do not like the Global West Sub Frame Connectors. I would use DSE or if I did stick with GW then I would recommend using the convertible ones. They do the exact same thing but route a bit different and don't block the spring pocket.

Sure....sorry not trying to jack your thread olskooljr.







The wheels are iForged "Astra" 18x8 front (5.00" backspace) and 18x10 rear wheels (5.50" backspace) Nitto NT55 tires, 245 wide fronts, 285 rears.

By the way...I am going to need another set of those pedals for my next car.

So curtis,

Your rear end is only lowered 1 1/4'' with the CAT-5?
