It is incredible. The road over is called the North Cascades Highway. It runs from just north of Everett Wa (Arlington) to Winthrop Wa. I have to be honest, if I had not been over it in a car prior to that run I wouldn't be able to tell you what much of it looks like.
It was like someone lit a fuse on all the bikes and we launched. We took it a bit easier on the road back. The last part of the loop took us through Leavenworth Wa and over Stevens Pass. The scenery along the Columbia river, Lake Chelan and through the mountains is unlike anywhere else in the country. It goes from huge evergreen forests to desert and all over between those. I grew up here and am still amazed at the places I see around here each year. I love it (except the rain
