I'm assuming you're still a total unibody car, but count on reinforcing regardless. I have to eliminate the seat risers as well, but will plate thefloor with 2 inch wide strips of 1/8 inch flat stock to mount the 06 GT seats.

The photo is the closest I've got of a bottom floor shot until it's back on the rotissery... it shows the braces for the chassis and the lack of center tunnel support.

Thanks for the info. I found another interesting build that the put a different tranny tunnel into it and lower the seat mounts. Search for T-67 by SVP Unlimited.

Edit: Here it is.

That is our build, we used the S197 tunnel because we were using the '07 GT500 6 speed and made the most sense so that we could use the S197 style shifter.

If we can be of any help just let me know or you can ask svpjason here as well.

Paul - I don't want to take his thread off-topic by too much but I just wanted to say that I really like the way you routed that exhaust to clear the WL. I was trying to figure out how I was going to get the exhaust out of the rear (I don't care for side exhaust except on a real Cobra).

Thanks Jeff....We refused to just dump the exhaust or go the side exhaust route and just decided to get creative with it. Nobody had ever run exhaust past the Griggs Watts setup but most were running it on race cars and didn't care about the noise...being a street car we wanted it as civilized as possible.
