Hey Tim, is your recommendation specific to this kit or Wilwood in general? I've never heard this before so I'm curious...

Tim is correct that Wilwood brakes were designed as manual brakes. We sell a ton of power set ups too though and they work just fine long as you properly spec the master. That is exactly why Wilwood makes multiple piston sizes. Some people still do not like the feel of manual brakes, I run them on all my personal cars, but some people are used to their hyper boosted late models and want that feel. For those, we do power brakes.

As for your rear kit Ray, you can do the 12.2" rear kit and the 11" front kit and still run your rallies.

No, not specific to this kit. Wilwood has engineered there systems to be used as a manual brake set up.

In my opinion the kit listed above was designed for a upgrade/ conversion for a front only swap. The reason I say this is as Frank stated above the front kit uses a rotor size of 10.75 the smallest rear kit rotor size is 12.88 . I personally don't care for a larger rear rotor than the front. But, If the intent is to run a 4 wheel disc brake and 15" wheels this would be the correct choice. I would personally like to see the fronts to be a little larger.

Tim, a couple months ago Wilwood introduced 11" front kits that fit 15" wheels and rears rotors are 12.19". Still a 1.19" difference but not as dramatic as 10.75" to 12.88". Like you I prefer a larger rotor on the front also, but with 15s, this is the best we can do.
