Question: can you get the rear wheels off without have to unbolt the rear suspension and/or driveline? I could, but just barely. I remember clearly when I tried it for the first time.

Hi John,

Since it's independent rear the driveline doesn't need to be removed. But the shocks have to be taken off so the a-arms can drop down to get the tires off.

I'm debating doing a front tilt hood because the way we have the current hood hinges I don't like them. The tires come so far up in the engine bay we couldn't use a stock hinge.

I made my hood open in reverse for that exact reason. My method was based on some BMW 3-series parts.

Doom we weren't planning on lengthening the wheel opening. What are your thoughts on this and why would you do it?

We have about another inch and half that we could lower the car but we are going to do the test drive setup the way it is. Yes, I like the stance too!

The opening is just a bit to small.If you look at the front opening to the back it just a little out of proportion .When you put a big wheel and tire combo back there it seems to get lost.I did a 66 for a guy a few years back we stretched the opening 3 inchs and it made world of difference in the look. I have no photo's of this car and I tried to track it down awile back for Jason at G-FORCE so I could show him but I could'nt locate the car. I'm a BIG fan of these 66's. And I can't wait to see this done. Doug this is just my opinion,I know this thing will turn out bad azz either way!!!
