Those logs are the perfect height for removing the trans, and the price was right.

No substitute for safety. A pair of jackstands from your local Auto Parts store is a must.

All kidding aside, I always try to be safe in the garage. I have 4 complete sets of jack stands. There are two more jack stands under the front of the truck where the frame starts to curve in. I just put the blocks there to keep the wheels from hanging. For some reason the rubber brake hoses seem like they are at the end of their limit when the front wheels are hanging free.

I dig it! I love this body style truck. I have several of these. Good luck with your build!

I found a frame last weekend for $45 and couldn't pass it up. My frame was bent in the crash. I had it straightened but when I took the bed off to repair the back of the cab I didn't feel comfortable with the work that had been done. What's the the saying? (If you want something done right, do it yourself). So here's the frame, I have all these big idea's Ride Tech, Stage two system, 18" wheels etc. Or put the new windows & siding on the house that I have been promising the wife I would do. Since I made the promise to upgrade the house I have bought the 91 truck, built a 26' x 30' x 10' garage and bought a 69 Dodge Dart 340 4spd car. I'm not sure how much more she'll take. Anyway here is where this phase of the project starts "again", we'll see where it goes.

Default Pro trucks wanted

Just became a member after seeing your truck. I have a red 90 sport that we do SCCA autocross with. We went to the RTTM hosted by Brain finch and the truck amazed a lot of people.
