Hey Vegas,

That’s gonna be your new nick name "FOF" (function over form) what does that even mean in this situation ??? It does gain HP, it DOES allow C O L D - A I R into the engine ! But that's ok, my 40+ hp gain will keep you in the rear view mirror J/K ! All in fun right !?!?!

40 HP? if cold air did that much, just take the hood off

I think it would actually help some if the hat isn't to small. On a 69 air comes in on the outside of the headlights with little resistance. It will be mixed with under hood temps though. A cowl hood is similar in my opinion. I know mine sticks up in the hole at least an inch and it's fairly tight. I'd like to see it tested on a chassis dyno with the hood shut and a standard air cleaner vs. this setu with some high speed fans on both corners.
