Default New guy from Oxnard/Ventura.

Never really introduced myself. Im a mechanic in ventura, and this is my daily driver/toy 1974 Camaro Z28. Its a 350/350 car. Ive already done alot to it, the front and rear suspension are done except for shocks. I have Hotchkis springs front and rear, Pro Touring F Body upper Control arms with tall ball joint, global west del-a-lum lower control arm bushings in the stock arms(PTFB and Hotchkis both came out with lowers less than 6 months after I did mine lol). Next on the list is wheels/tires and after that Kore 3 brakes all around. Also going to get subframe connectors, and then re-do the interior.

The goal at this point is to have the money for some decent 3 piece 17's by christmas time.

Also ive been tinkering alot with it to get better mileage, I just hit 17.9 MPG highway going from Oxnard to Fontana(and that was with labor day traffic). Im going to over-inflate my tires and lean out the carb just a little more and see if I cant hit 19 or even 20 :

Welcome!! That is a beautiful car. 3 piece wheels would look good on it, but I think the smallest diameter you can get in them is an 18". Not sure though, like I said...I think.

If I farted loud enough youd hear it. I live like a mile away from you. I still cant figure out where your shop is though, I drove by it the other day, are you behind the bus parts place, or behind one of the other body shops?

Gonzo, I think I posted up in your thread on 'another' site... I'd have to go back and look again.
I lived in Oxnard up until 2 years ago before moving up to Paso Robles. I still stay in Ventura during my work week though.
I've never seen your shop, it looks amazing!

And SLO, for not having an OD trans, your doing great. Now get an OD and start passing the fill up stations.
