Nope. It's at least the 3rd that I know of that are done and on the road; regardless it's impossible to build a C5/C6 into a 1st gen. (Or so people have been telling me for a decade.)

Looks great Bob. How did those inner fenders work out?

Tyler,

Can you supply any info about the cars that are already on the road?

The first one I knew of was a guy named Gary Guthrie. His car went into Wayne Due's shop just after my 50/50 car and actually went all the way through into final assembly and has run on the track. It's yellow and Red.

The 2nd one I know of is a Blue car built by Lingenfelter.
Info here:

Once Bob is done with this red 69 he will be #3 of the transaxle 1st gens to hit the road.

Isnt the Baldwin Motion super car one also? And I believe Rodger Burman had one 2yrs ago at Columbus. It would be nice to know how many camaro's on the road have this set up. There are at least four at lat g I know of;
Bobs, Mine, Some guy in Canada I think and one in Illinois that was in the for sale section on lat G with the modified Max G chassis (user name noodles)

There is way more then 4.
Lingenfelter
50/50
the one from behind bars.
Real Bob Johnson
Dave's 69 camaro
There have been a few come up on Ebay that sit like monster trucks.

If you look outside the Camaro there are a lot more.
Neil Lea 55
G-force Cuda
C6-57
Russell's truck
Johns 66
Doug's nova from Wayne Due
Foose has an Impala going on right now
Jay Leno Toronado
Eric's 62 nova vert
Darrell's Top Secret 67
The West Coast Custom Chevelle
There are a ton more, muscle cars and street rods

I have lengthened the torque tube on quite a few other projects and get a lot of phone calls from guys looking for advice on what we have done with the drivetrain.

21st Centry Street Machines also had a rear c5 rear set up but not sure what cars got the install. Payton might know. Either way, camaro or others theres still only a hand full C5/C6. (another one just got added to the lat g for sale list) I can see that list being much greater if you add in the C4, Heidts, etc to the mix.

Anyway, back to Bobs thread- Great car Bob! Cant wait to see this one on the road.
