Default I believe they did a photo shoot at Motorstate

for Camaro Performers.

Mark,

Good seeing you again at VIR. My kids were digging you 69. They took lots of pics..none of them good. LOL

You definitely have the driving skills! Amazing watch you wheel Mike's Camino around the track.

The guys from GrassrootsMotorsports took a lot of pictures of Mark and Jake's cars. I think I heard them say they were going to run a feature on them in the next edition.

Camaro Performers shot it while it was at the Motorstate Challenge.

Awesome build. Way awesome build!

Anyway, I've read this whole thread trying to figure out what ABS controller that is.

Mark, do you mind telling us a little more about the ABS controller and associated wiring?

thanks!

John,

I spoke with Mark at that motorstate challenge, he has access to software to program it. Us mortals have to deal with a system that will not be optimized for the application. Matt from Morrison has adapted one to his 69 and seems to like it, but I have no idea if he was able to program his or not.

Matt

Yes, Matt Jones and I have had several discussion about his setup, and I'm going to use the same wheel sensors (C6 front/4th gen F-body back) he is using. It's the controller that Mark is using that intrigues me. It looks like a Bosch 8.1 unit (CTS-V, maybe?) and I'd just like to know some more about it.

Mark stopped in at a local car show with it briefly today, you should have seen the size of the crowd slobbering all over it (me included). Got to talking with him a bit about the various systems, during which he mentioned the ABS system is from a 2006 Z06.

The car is spectacular in its execution. Nothing unnecessary or out of place, just purposeful components and systems. All while looking mean, kicka$$, and gorgeous. Made me want to junk all my stuff and start over.
