Those lifts can be fun at times! I have spent countless hours on them over the last 20+ years! No that you have been up that high imagine the weight of a 12' 5/8'' piece of sheetrock pushing you around! Good times! Glad the other guys on the crew do that, not me!!

You'll be moved into this in no time!

I like the sun tunnel idea.

I still think you need to leave the big window looking into the garage

Looking great Wayne! Are you going to drywall it this go-around or will that be later on? Will you be doing the electrical and air line plumbing?

I'm having an electrician install the the load center and power from the garage to the house. Then I'll do the rest of the wiring as I go. The contractor doesn't want to leave the garage without the ceiling being done so he is strapping the trusses. I didn't know he was planning to do that. It just shows how he does it right. The rock will have to be later on as budget permits.

Sounds good, go at your pace! No need to get in a hurry, think things through and do it right the first time! Any word on that car of yours?

Got a little progress today. They strapped the trusses to keep them straight untill I put the sheetrock in later on. They also did some of the vinyl on the front of the garage. They stopped short of the top because I have a gable end vent for the two peaks ordered . They are suposed to be here Monday morning.

Here are a few pictures of what they did today.

The camara makes the vinyl look a little funky bit its straight.
