I know this is kind of late notice but Hooverspeed will be running the 25 hours of Thunderhill December 3-5

25 hours of Thunderhill is the world’s longest endurance race and quite a spectacle (Some have called it the burningman of autosports). Hooverspeed is currently looking for volunteers that would like to join the crew at the event or if you want the full experience there are 2 seats still available for qualified drivers.
To be on the crew you should be available for the whole weekend of Dec 3-5 and have your own transportation to and from the track near Willows, CA. Prior crew experience is not required but you do need to be a gearhead AND dependable. Crew members might be doing hot pit duties (fuel and tire changes) as well as major repairs (we have actually done complete engine swaps and still finished in a top spot). Of course any help at all would be appreciated (Like keeping the coffee flowing).
To drive you will need to be currently licensed with the National Auto Sport Association (NASA) and have completed 8 road races with any of the major road racing associations (NASA, SCCA, IMSA, Grand Am ect). Check here for official rules and regulations

The car you would be driving is a race proven Mazda Miata built by a team with several national championships under its belt. Hooverspeed has built cars for some of the sports winningist racers.
Contact us via the Hoverspeed website if you are interested in being on the crew or would like to drive in a winning car, if you are just interested in attending the event you can follow the previous link.
