Tones - it's a "pit" and he stores his planted pots down there in the winter. The "fence" is some movable safety grating painted yellow.

No. His body is channeled 2" over the frame.

Cool...That view sure looks funny to look down there and see vegetation!

Stopped by SAR on my way home from my BJ/GRNS... not much to update because they were down at the GRNS with several cars.

Motor is set in the chassis... and they've cleaned up the wiring under the dash.

Greg,

Nice project! Look forward to seeing it, hopefully in person.

Since you're obviously into the NW Hot Rod scene does these cars from my neighborhood look familiar?

Are you using the old headers and exhaust or something different?

Wayne -- since you asked... No -- building custom food grade stainless steel headers and out the back exhaust. Working on some ideas now as a matter of fact!

So this is just prelim mock up.... I said HECK NO! to the two normal exhaust out the back idea.... BUT I'm toying with copying the new Ferrari 458 Italia exhaust using THREE tips... so two 3" with a 2 1/2" in the middle.... because the car is painted Ferrari Rosso Corsa red...

What do you guys think?? First two pics just show pipe location -- last pic is of the tip design....

SIEG! Yeah --- They're familiar! One is a '32 Ford and the other one is a '35....

But really... no - I'm too old to remember what we were even talking about.

Nice looking rides though!
