I would put all the suspension, axle, wheels, tires etc on and set it at ride height to make sure it's not tweaked and one side of the car is higher than the other. Just my $.02 its easy to cut them loose now than later....

2nd Chance Camaro - BBT Firewall Modifications
2012 08-15 Update - 2nd Chance Camaro - BBT Firewall Modifications
www.2ndchancecamaro.com
Evening All,
While the car was at BBT Fab the guys did a little work cleaning up the firewall.
Some of the holes didn't line up when I tried to install the Close Out panel . So I had Troy weld up the existing holes and
installed Nut-Zerts in the firewall. This was also a chance to install his new hardware.

2nd Chance Camaro - BFG 295's on the Rear
2012 09-22 Update - BFG 295's on the Rear
www.2ndchancecamaro.com
Evening all,
Picking the right tires for your car is important, it can make or break the final look . As much as I like the big tire look out back it just doesn't fit with the plan for this car. The goal is to have something that looks very classy and timeless. So the ideal size for this project would be somewhere around 12" wide.
Remember timeless is the goal for this car.
What was funny is I asked everyday people what they thought of the tire combo on this car while it was sitting in my garage and everyone
said the same thing.
Looks Perfect !! Not to big, not to small just like the perfect bowl of porridge - Just Right
Some of the cool tools that I have laying around from the Syborg TT project is the Wheel Mate. It sure makes test fitting tires easy !!
You can see that there is plenty of clearance using the stock rear spring perches.
Quick look from the rear and you can there is plenty of tire out back.

2nd Chance Camaro - Billet Specialties Mag G Wheels
2012 09-22 Update - Billet Specialties Mag G Wheels
www.2ndchancecamaro.com
Evening all,
Scott from Billet Specialties was kind enough to come over and confirm the backspacing. He also dropped off the test rims to make
sure everything fit as we hoped. Using the stick you can confirm tire clearance when the suspension run's through it's travel.
If your spin the rim you can check for other clearance issue's.
The 2 1/2" on the stick shows upward travel for the rear suspension. You need to make sure that when the tire goes up it doesn't
connect with the inner wheel tubs.
Picture of the rim just after it was finished at Billet Specialties. I can't wait to pick them up and fit them on the car.
The finished wheel mounted on the car.
