Very nice, aggressive looking wheel, Jason.

I have been waiting for you to design a wheel like the Battery. This wheel would look killer on a certain '69 Bird with the correct stance.

I am not at the point where I need to pick wheels but I have narrowed it down to 2 different wheels and companies. Well, make it 3 different wheels now after seeing your Battery wheel.

Do you have any photo's of the Battery you could post please? I would like to see a closer look at the center cap. Does the cap come off?

Thanks, and keep up the good design work!

Glad to have a horse in the race, Ron. Thank You. I'll get you some pics of them posted but like I said, they are brand new. For reference, the lug recess and centercap is identical to most of our designs and the centercaps are removable and held in by an o-ring like most 2 piece wheels. Here's a close up of a Trooper which is similar in design and identical in lug recess and cap detail.

Jason, you are definitely in the race.

Is the Battery a 3 piece wheel? Is there a small recessed section on each of the spokes? (It's difficult to tell on the website).

Can't wait to see the pics.

Thanks.

Hi Ron,

PM me with your email address and I'll shoot you over a large size rendering of the Battery. I am very fond of this wheel myself. I'll be going with the Battery or the Trooper on my 70 Z28. I'm measuring for back space in the next few weeks and will make up my mind. I maybe the one to Jump and be the first to order the Battery.

Sorry for the late reply, Ron. We were doing a booth at the GoodGuys show in Pleasanton, CA over the weekend and just got back in the office today.

Like all of our wheels, they are available in 2 or 3 piece construction and with or without perimeter hardware. Yes, there is a short groove coming off of the lugnut.

Sorry for the late response. I had to attend to a family matter for the past 4 1/2 weeks and still trying to tie up loose ends.

Doom, yes I have looked at Boze Forged and the Boost is on my top 3 list. It gets more difficult with each new wheel introduced to the public. But someone once said, "always go with the first wheel I liked even if I liked other wheels after that." So we'll see what happens. I do wish I could see the wheels in person instead of online or in print. I have seen the Boost in person at my local Good Guys Show.

Ron, PM sent. Did you go with the Battery?

Jason, thanks for the info. Would love to see any Battery photo's. Any Battery wheels sold yet?

Thanks.

Hey Jason could you make it to our Good Guys Show here in TN and set up or is it too far from WA? Would love to see the Battery (and now the Trooper) in person.

We're doing a bunch of Good Guys shows this year but we won't be in Nashville next month although a bunch of our clients will so keep your eyes open. I predict a bunch taking part in the autocross so you can see them getting abused! Seeing a handful of styles on a variety of cars should hopefully tell you if you think we make a good looking product or not so hopefully that gives you the assurance you need.

You can still be an early adopter and get something only a few folks have gotten so far.

Here's one of the first sets of Battery centers fresh from powdercoat ready to get welded into the hoops. Should have finished pics in a day or two.

Hey Ron, Here are a couple of pics of my '68 with the Rushforth Troopers. They have the new black diamond finish and get compliments everywhere I go.
Good luck in your wheel search!
