Cris - overhead shot looks great! Camaro heaven, Baby....

(I know there's a firebird in there somewhere)

Can't wait to see how that c6 69 was fabbed up. Does it look like it has final suspension dimensions? i.e. track width, wheelbase, etc.? Any plans you can leak to the media?

Wow--viva la difference---it's amazing how much more space it made by moving those shelves and the booth! Projects look awesome ----looking forward to the 69 project you've got there.

I'll be coming up the 101 in June--with some folks in tow---would love to stop by and see the stuff---can't believe it's only a couple months away!!

Thanks Ron!

The 69 is getting loaded on the jig on Tuesday & will be confirming suspension dimensions.. The plans for the car are still being discussed on what path we will be taking with it.. The owner will be flying in early next month to discuss details..

Default Texas 68 Camaro

Here is another 68 Camaro we are working on here at the shop.. It has been a drag car all its life & now are working on putting back on the street.. When the car was stripped down to bare metal we found that it had lots of rust covered with bondo & card board was used as a backing to hold it in place.. Point of no return.. Owner said fix it & while you are @ it give it some custom touches.. Replacement floors were required with trunk & firewall..
Upgrade list: Scott Mock Sub-frame with C6 suspension, Rear suspension ??, LS2 with T56, Z06 Corvette wheels, & a few JCG custom pcs...

One of main body men who happens to be good @ replacement sheet metal, front sheet metal squaring, & gaping all opening.. wanted to be given the opportunity to do some custom fabrication work.. so since we have so much of it going on right now here @ the shop.. I said.. Go for it!! He wanted a bead roller.. We bought one.. & here are the results so far.. Not bad for his first time on the bead roller!

Default Shop re-model

We have been remodeling the shop for the last 4 weeks.. A major pain in the A$$! with expense! But I had to do it... I have some much fabrication work going on that I had to segregate it from the rest of the shop.. plus I now have cars staged for long term fabrication in a location that they can sit for a while.. Body shop has become a very small space but enough to support what I have @ the shop & my neighbor @ the far end of my building just installed a new state of the art down draft spray booth that has agreed to rent it out to me when we need to paint a car.. I also gained a clean area for final assembly of cars when we get to those stages in a build.. Waiting for my neighbor to move out to take over their space which I happen to be renting out half their warehouse for storage..

Another expense was fabrication equipment.. bead roller, slip roll, dimple dies, tube bender & looking @ a Pullmax today.. with manual mill & lathe.. Taking the fabrication shop to the next level.. Plus got a new fabricator starting in a few weeks to support the work load we got going on..

Hey Rick! Sorry for the late response.. Have super busy lately..

At this time I wish I had the time to make an extra pcs.. but we are buried with work on the fab dept.... That pcs was fun to make cause it was the first one that we did with my new bead roller & my body man being introduced to doing a custom firewall.. It is nice to have a person that I can have him fill in both depts. The fab shop & body shop..
