Oh Gary.... it can be done! I wasn't making fun of your build by the way... just saying - it's so dang hard to keep a budget on these things... and they always tend to cost far more than most folks allow for. That and "project creep"... I know 'cause I'm a serious offender that way myself!

Keep posting! I for one would love to watch this all come together.

Oh I didn't take it that way....I just saying I AM GOING TO STAY ON BUDGET...more for my sake. I have built many vehicles for others and I am still astonished how fast it gets out of control.

Sounds like a cool project. Great to see another Canadian Torino on here.

I assume you are going to significanly modify the front of the car to fit 325's up there. From what I have found, the most you can possibly fit under there stock and still have full jounce clearance and be able to still turn lock to lock is around 275. This is with a heavily modified front suspension. 325's in the rear will be no prob if you add 1.5" to the rear wheel well.

I also went the fab everything myself route and build on a very tight budget but run all top notch parts.. 4 years later still going . Managed to do everything very cheap considering.. just took forever to find deals on used parts.

I have been following your build on the twin torinos. Looks like a very cool build. The front suspension will be partly C4 vette and custom fab parts. I will be cutting off the whole front end getting rid of those spring towers. Can't wait to get my garage cleared out and on to the build rather than planning.
