Stopped at SAR today so here's a couple of pics (cell phone versions) I took just for my own "documentation" purposes.... but will share them just 'cause that's what we should do... right?

The exhaust tip with the cast medallion -- they'll (the medallions) go to chrome shortly...

Here's the details it takes to 're-do' (is that considered a tweak or a mod?) the windshield post.... a hand formed piece (grey) from foam.... which is then scanned and made in one of those plastic forming machines... which is then cast in silicone bronze... which will get chromed shortly...

Here's the "cap" detail for the top of the windshield corner...

And a shot of the wheels (again)...

Looks great! Let me know when you do a PIR night with it! Otherwise I hope to see it in July!

This attention to detail amazes me. Very nice Greg. The wheels look great.

I'm coming back down on Friday -- they'll have the motor/trans installed and will have done the body drop... so it should be on the ground. I'm dying to see the stance with the wheels and tires... We couldn't get it as low as a '32 with a dropped straight axle so it won't be as BA as I'd ultimately like to have it but it'll be close. I was shooting for 4.5" ground clearance and I think we're more like 5".

Tony R --- We'll do lots of Beaches Wednesdays this summer! I'm going to try to wear this rod out this year....

Waynie --- This is kind of what these high end shops are known for... SAR loves to build custom trim..... and I'm no different than his other customers.... they show you something kool - and it becomes a "gotta have it". I have to say that the process (other than the check writing) has been a lot of fun.

Thats OK Greg. Even the check writing won't sting so much when your cruising around in this beauty.

This is really turning into an "old guys" car. I mean..... when you "forget" where you parked..... all you need to do is look for the 32 with your last name all over it....

Lookin great Greg

That is one of the things SAR is really well known for. They have some real craftsmen that work there. Take a look at these 2 builds. They were using C5 corvette suspension on custom built chassis before anyone else was.

this one is my favorite they nailed the look and stance. All custom made trim work.
