Thanks Tones....

I was real happy seeing it yesterday. It's tough to beat the quality of this shop... There's just nothing they can't pull off and they make it happen so quickly and simply that it makes it real fun. Decisions turn more on "what do you want to do" not - "oh that's going to be tricky" or whatever. They just make it happen.

This build is actually super simple compared to most of what they have going on.

That is the sign of a great shop. I bet you were really happy seeing in person yesterday. It does look great and those little touches add that "personal" touch.
The rod looks great on the chassis. Those wheels/wheel colors work well. That rear shot is still the best in my opinion.

Yep - personally I think the stance sucks.... so the wheels will have to go. Unfortunately Schott doesn't make anything smaller than a 17" even though they made these 6.5" wide... the fronts don't allow enough drop in front for me.

SO.... I'll be wheel shoppin'

I'd like a set of Greg Weld's wheels.

But I'm not interested in a set of Greg Weld wheels.

Very comedic Skippers!

I've owned some sets of Greg Weld wheels and sometimes Greg Weld doesn't do so well with wheels... I was hoping I'd have the stance (we measured a million times) I was shooting for... and sometimes pics don't tell the whole story - but if this is the stance it's dead wrong. It's okay - these wheels will maybe work on the '37 Ford.... and if not - they can join the other sets up on the retaining wall behind the shed... There's several sets shod with various rubber just wasting away back there.

That's too bad about the wheels Greg.

But I might have found your missing rake.

You can just have a smaller dia made for the front.

I'm sure Shawn Dove would be happy... er, willing to cut you a set of wheels that have Weld logo spokes. You could even get a set of matching Weld logo center caps.

oh, and I might add, the suspension is looking nice under the car!

Matt
