Mario -- Note the deleted posts from me. I think we're going steady again.

Listen - everyone in the industry knows this is a top notch shop. I know that or it wouldn't have gone there in the first place. Sometimes "stuff" happens... sometimes you cause the "stuff" to happen. It's how you deal with the "stuff" that happens that's MOST important to me.

I reamed a couple new ones yesterday -- I didn't like the response... so my reamer gets larger... and it starts looking for new holes to ream.... but in the end... the situation has been diffused (and I know a thing or two about fuses and blowing stuff up) the correct way.

YOU and I are on the same page... I'm the easiest customer in the whole wide world...give me the best money can buy... on time... right... and if you have a kool idea talk to me... and let's do it! I do this stuff most every day -- I KNOW what it takes. Nobody needs to explain it to me... I've been there done that -- and in some cases more than the guy doing it. So hours are hours and if you want the best of the best - then that takes TIME. I get it. But with that attitude there comes a price... it better be right on the money honey. If I wanted it F'd up - I'd do that myself! Trust me... I've done more of that - than I've done things right. I also get that part of a build. No biggie.

I can tell you that the car has a quality that you don't get in the average build of a '32. I'm not saying that because it's mine. I've seen lots and lots of these cars and there are quality cars that just exude a certain "look and feel". This has a quality look that even if you don't like the styling - you'll still agree that it's top notch shizell...that's what you get out of a Foose... Ring Brothers... Bobby Alloway... S.A.R... Roadster Shop... Brizio. The home guys just can't quite get that 'look' -- and I don't even know what that is but you know it when you see it. I only wish I could build 'em like that here in the shed... but a man has to know his limitations.

The 'issues' with this car are minor in nature -- but they "stack up" -- nothing major... nothing that isn't fixable in a very short order... but the shop has to be WILLING to go an extra mile in the end. And in the end S.A.R has stepped up to the plate.
