I don't think I've ever seen my name used so much in a thread!
Don't thank me...you did the work. And you will be reporting back to all these guys on the results...good, bad, or indifferent. The good stuff is all assumed...we want [and need] to hear about the stuff that needs improvement...whatever that might be.
As I replied in my email a couple of days ago...shock tuning is VERY subjective. And it is also just one area of suspension tuning. Tire pressure, sway bars, driving style, track conditions ALL play a very important part of getting a car to go fast on a given day.
I am trying to work out to be in Des Moines myself...we can make some real progress there, although the limited amount of runs will allow only so much time to tune.
We are obviously very proud of the whole suspension, but especially the shocks. I wish I could take sole credit for developing these pieces, but in reality it was our military relationship with the guys at Fox Shocks that gave birth to these pieces. RideTech determined the dimensions, valving, and appearance parameters, but the internal architechure is Fox. They truly must be seen and felt to be appreciated. We have seven customers running at the Motorstate event this weekend...hopefully seven more RideTech shock desciples!
Glad you like it so far...now we'll make it fast!
