Yes they did close up. I have their fittings on my scoot and no application specific wrench (f'n shop went out of business and took it with them!) to remove them.

I did some detective work and tracked down one of the priciples email address, but never got a response. I was told they have a garage full of left overs...

BTW, mine never leaked.
