Here are some updated pics!! 1st and 2nd pic show the Global West Rocker Rail support welded in. 3rd shows the mini tubs welded in. 4th pic shows the firewall after I ground down body filler around the edges. It was 1/4" thick in some spots. This was someones attempt to smooth out the firewall. NO BUENO! They used flimsy 26ga metal and spread filler on top till it was level. I am going cut it out and do it the right way!

Thanks!! After adding a torque box on the passenger side, sub-frame connectors, 8 point cage, seam welding the entire chassis and rocker rail support kit I think its fair to say that the chassis is a lot stronger!!

There is officially NO body filler on my car!! Cut out the previous bad work on the firewall today. Body filler was 3/8 thick or more in some areas WTF!! In pics 4 and 5 you can see how wavy and warped the sheet metal was. Seems like the body shop bowed the sheet metal inward so they could fill it with body filler. I cant believe the work some people do.

Not sure if I should cut out the factory recessed area from the firewall?? What do you guys think??
