doug nash 5-speed and a 5.3 ??????

Thank you guys....that's the info I was looking for . I had asked this same question on another site and one guy said to get rid of ...It's junk. I really want to try and make this work, It included 2 scattershields, 2 flywheels and a clutch setup for a 1st gen sbc and bbc. So the scattershield I have should fit the 5.3 ???
anyone have a shifter that will come close to hitting the shifter hole close to the right spot ?

If the scattershield that you have will accommodate a 168 tooth flywheel, then it will work with the 5.3L (I assume LS engine). I put a Richmond 6 speed behind an LS engine and the 5.3L should be the same. YOu can check out details here:
