305 SBC with some swap meet go fast parts
Aluminum bellhousing and clutch fork from an early C4 Corvette
Parts store house brand clutch and pressure plate
World Class T5 from a 4th gen V6 Camaro with custom bellhousing adapter plate
C4 Corvette aluminum driveshaft
S-10 7.5" 10 bolt with a g-body limited slip center section and 4.11 gears

The 305 was free and with the go fast parts and some homegrown head porting and rod grinding it has been a reliable hard working engine that loves to rev right up to 7,000 RPM. My truck is on a modified '84 S-10 extended cab frame so I originally used the S-10 T5. It lasted a few thousand miles before the clutch drops and power shifting caused it to grenade in 3rd gear.

Welcome. We've already had a thread about your truck. It's in the off topic section I believe. I love it.
