I think I paid 14K or 14.5K for Jackass. It was orig paint clean car but wore out. I just donated the orig 327 to a guy today. I think we got Stielows Red Devil for the same price. You are just money ahead when you start with a car like this and alot less headaches. The black plates are selling so well on Ebay because DMV is letting them be put back on cars but you have to pay a yearly fee just like a personalized plate.

I bought my all original 307 car in fantastic condition for 14k.... That was 06 though...

Yep -- somewhere between 12 and 15K would be tops. I just sold a Calif black plate POP '69 drop top with 53K original miles for 18.5K

If the top goes down the price goes up.

Pull the carpets back and look for rust in the floors... and the TRUNK.... and bottoms of fenders etc.

Look for signs of water intrusion at the "cowl/windshield" area and ditto that at the rear - window/package tray.

Greg what s the best way to determine if their is rust in the cowl and under the windshield?
